The Crown Building is a 26-story, Class A office building located on the southwest corner of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street in the heart of New York’s most famous commercial thoroughfare. Constructed in 1921 and acquired by Winter in 1991, the iconic Crown Building was designed by Warren and Wetmore. The building, initially named the Heckscher Building, was the original home for the Museum of Modern Art in 1929. Directly across the street from luxury purveyors including Tiffany & Co. and Bergdorf Goodman, the property is home to some of the finest luxury retailers in the world. Office tenants are comprised of premier financial, fashion, and entertainment companies. Winter Properties sold the building in April 2015.
